Wu Tang Clan to Play Selves in ODB Biopic

The legendary hip-hop group, Wu-Tang Clan, will play themselves in the biography, “Dirty White Boy”, detailing the group’s deceased member Ol’ Dirty Bastard.
According to Indiewire Wu-Tang members will be featured in the movie. But it has yet to be officially announced which members of the group will appear in the film. The NY Daily News has posited that Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and RZA will all be in the movie. GZA was assumed to be in the film but it has been confirmed by a representative of GZA that he will not be appearing in the film.
The film will be directed by Joaquín Baca-Asay. Joaquín has worked on numerous films including Super Troopers, We Own The Night and Two Lovers. Michael K. Williams will be playing the part of ODB in the film. Williams is well known for playing the character Omar in the show The Wire.
In an interview with the Daily News, Williams mentioned, “[We] have no desire to cast any actors as the Wu-Tang. We need all hands on deck.”
