In times of electric cars and biodiesel, bicyclists and vehicles that run on recycled fryer oil, Red Fang is like a hard rock Battleship fueled by PBR. The no nonsense hard rock quartet hails from Portland, and will be taking Neumo’s by storm on Friday, August 10.  While the music is seriously heavy, the band is known for not taking themselves too seriously.  Their music videos exemplify a laid back approach to the daily grind, with more beer swilling packed into 30 seconds of  video than most people will see through their entire college career — the party doesn’t seem to stop for Red Fang.  But why would you want it to? Driving guitar melodies, searing leads, chunky bass lines, and blasting drums that barrel through like a freight train but dance gracefully between the threshold of hard rock and metal, the sound of Red Fang is unmistakably unique and extremely satisfying!

The show will open with an onslaught of heavy sounds deftly delivered by  Black Breath and Brokaw.
