Contrary to the popular rumor, “Kill Mother-F###ing Depeche Mode” is not what this band is about, although the actual translation is nearly as odd and anti-humanitarian (“Kein Mehrheit Für Die Mitleid,” or “no majority for the pity”). Having gotten their start in Germany, they’ve headquartered all over the U.S. from Chicago to New York to our very own home of Seattle. Even if we can’t claim full ownership rights of this legendary band, partial ownership should feel good enough.
Known for bringing their unique, tough edge to the masses, KMFDM has seen a revolving door of band members. While KMFDM exploded during the 90s with hits like “Juke Joint Jezebel” getting constant radio play, check out this [bomb]astic cover of Nancy Sinatra’s #1 hit from the 60s, “Boots.”
