If you’re a fan of “Death Gospel” then you ought to thank Adam Arcuragi, the founder of the genre, who will be stopping through to Seattle this Monday evening. Death Gospel stemmed from Arcuragi’s mixture of many genres including Americana, gospel, folk, and a touch a blues with thought-provoking lyrics. Arcuragi’s resume includes being a published playwright, which helped with providing depth through lyrics lain over his energetic tunes. Even President Barack Obama can appreciate Adam Arcuragi’s musical efforts, as he performed for his presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C. Following that performance, Arcuragi turned his attention towards his third full length release, Like a fire that consumes all before it… which officially surfaced in January of this year. Now Arcuragi will be returning to Seattle to convert each of us with his powerful songwriting. His backup band, The Lupine Chorale Society, will be joining Arcuragi in full force along with opener Edmund Wayne from Snohomish who will soon be releasing a debut EP.
