The xx have shared a clip of them performing “Angels,” the first song off their upcoming LP Coexist.
In the video, they are captured playing live in a Tokyo hotel room; it is hushed and fragile, drifting into consciousness through Romy’s angelic vocals and tranquil guitar work.
Their follow-up to 2009′s breakthrough record xx will launch on September 10/11 courtesy of Young Turks. Stream “Angels” below and be swept up in its gentle current.
