Watch: The Full Trailer for the New Dirty Projectors’ Film

Lead singer David Longstreth of the band Dirty Projectors is using his creative expertise to delve into the film industry.  He has just wrapped up writing and directing a short flick, Hi Custodian.

Following the band members David Longstreth, Amber Coffman, Nat Baldwin, Haley Dekle, and Mike Johnson through a life of death and rebirth, the film is an ethereal narrative filmed over the course of five days in Southern California.

The film features new Dirty Projectors songs “Offspring Are Blank”, “About to Die”, “Gun Has No Trigger”,”The Socialites” and “Just From Chevron”.  Expect to hear a myriad of previously unreleased songs from the band’s forthcoming LP, Swing Lo Magellan.
