After a strong showing at Austin Psych Fest earlier this month Secret Colours have released the colorless video for “Take it Slow”.

Shot in black and white, and directed by bassist Eric Hehr, “Take it Slow” documents the recording of the bands recently released Positive Distractions, as well as shots of the band touring the country and playing in their hometown of Chicago.

“Take it Slow” is a great, dreamy mid-tempo pop ballad; perfect for the Thursday morning work slog. Lush, mid-range guitars nest around reverb rich vocals arrangements, giving the song a care-free feel that lasts long after first listen.

Positive Distractions is available on vinyl/cassette/cd via the bands bandcamp. You can check out more on the band at their website: secretcolours.com.
