Redd Kross have released a music video for “Stay Away From Downtown”, a song from their upcoming LP.
The video depicts the four band members clad in shimmering, metallic-sheen jackets and KISS-esque face paint, a getup they have been doing off and on for thirty years. It is a simple concept; they are rocking out in a basement while scattered bits of footage play out behind them. With the riffs of hard rock and the infectious, upbeat choruses of power pop swirled together, Redd Kross really rallies with the new track.
The Los Angeles band announced Researching The Blues some months back, their first LP of original material in fifteen years. It comes out today courtesy of Merge Records.
