James Murphy, of the defunct LCD Soundsystem, recently dropped by the “Late Night Show With Jimmy Fallon.”
Revealing that he had given up on music early in his life, and instead went to college to become a writer, Murphy discussed how he almost wrote for the television show Seinfeld, one of the most successful shows in television history. Instead he decided to play guitar and live in his office. Fallon and Murphy also discussed selling out Madison Square Garden, and the new LCD Soundsystem documentary “Shut Up and Play The Hits.”
