It’s here, it’s here, it is finally here! Purveyors of sexified mammalian funk, Hot Bodies In Motion, have released their newest music video ”That Darkness”. Filmed in a single take (the seventh to be exact) the video captures the magic of 4 guys playing music live. It pays homage to the cohesiveness and musicianship of the band — and their ability to deliver “baby-makin’ funk laced with old-school blues.”
The release of “That Darkness” denotes a paradigm evolution for the Seattle quartet. With a little shuffle and reorganization of the lineup, the band has emerged with greater focus and a clear creative vision. That vision is marked by maturation and deeper attention to detail in both performance delivery and song construction. HBIM music has always been irresistible, but if this video is a sample of what’s to come, this summer will be a full-on bump ‘n’ grind fest, fueled by the aural ecstasy of Hot Bodies In Motion.
