Watch: Converge — “Aimless Arrow”

Converge have just unleashed the video for “Aimless Arrow,” the leading track on their forthcoming record All We Love We Leave Behind.
For two decades Converge have catapulted intense, riveting hardcore music into the world. With “Aimless Arrow” they continue their pursuit of liberation. The guitar and drum work are both powerful and intricate; Bannon’s vocals are characteristically passionate.
The video is dizzying, following a youth as he meanders along road, water and woods. The imagery is intense and vaguely nightmarish as the boy tosses and turns in bed.
All We Love We Leave Behind drops on October 9 via Epitaph, Converge’s first LP since Axe to Fall in 2009. The album, seventeen songs in all, will likely mark the latest successful step in their fabled progression.
