Watch: Active Child – “Hanging On”

A video has recently appeared for the song “Hanging On” off of dream-pop outlet Active Child’s You Are All I See which dropped this past summer. The video highlights extreme depth-of-field shots and eerie but beautiful natural imagery one might imagine while listening to Active Child’s spiritual creations. These powerful shots are the work of directors T.S. Pfeffer and Robert McHugh, who used Canon 7Ds, a Sony CineAlta 1500, and a Hero GoProHD to capture the footage which was later cut together in Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro. It takes some serious hard work and impressive gear to so eloquently match Active Child’s ethereal sound with such appropriate imagery, and here, the “Hanging On” music video undoubtedly complements the original song.
