Ablebody has released a new video from their All My Everybody EP for the lush, dreampop song “Sally Hot Jazz”.
According to Ablebody frontperson Christoph Hochheim, “The EP was inspired by a long destructive relationship, the frustration/desperation of trying to rekindle what once was. More specifically, this song is about the moment in a relationship when both parties are suffering from a profound sense of stagnation but because of the sacrifices and time invested the couple opts for a loveless rut of routine and self-denial to avoid the more painful option of abandoning what they’ve built.”
The Martha Naranjo Sandoval directed video is decorated by old family videos shot over modestly choreographed shots.
