Two More Posthumous Releases For Amy Winehouse LikelyPosted by Cameron LaFlam
Amy Winehouse will likely have two more albums released under her name, according to her father Mitch Winehouse. The first posthumous release of hers was Lioness: Hidden Treasures which hit shelves back in December.
The soulful rhythm and blues artist passed away last year due to alcohol poisoning. The two albums she put out during her lifetime - Frank and Back in Black - cemented her status as a unique star in the neo-soul resurgence.
Mr. Winehouse commented in his interview with BBC 6 Music that, “there are loads of covers, loads of them, but…we don’t want to rip anybody off.” No specific details are available to evidence when these two possible albums will come to fruition.
