Toro Y Moi recently divulged details on his upcoming LP during a talk with Interview Magazine. The name of it is Anything In Return.

The 25 year old Chaz Bundick initially found success under the Toro Y Moi banner with his debut Causers of This in 2010. The year was rife with releases like his (as well as Neon Indian and Washed Out) which helped cement the chillwave genre – a cozy concoction typically spilling out mixtures of electronic, psychedelic, and ambient music dished in lo-fi haziness.

For Anything in Return, his third album, Bundick is looking toward bigger and brighter movements in music. He confirms that, “I’m just trying to make sincere pop music that’s not all processed and bubblegum…I want to see what’s popular, then put my own spin on it.”

The forthcoming record drops in early 2013 on Jan. 22 through Carpark Records. Venture downward for a look at the full track listing.
