Arriving in town with the Honda Civic tour are two of mainstream rock’s most popular acts, Linkin Park and Incubus. Both bands spawned from the passé “nu-metal” scene with such hits as “I Wish You Were Here” and “One Step Closer.” Incubus began as a group that experimented with funk, rap, metal and rock. Over time their sound matured into a mixture of catchy radio-rock which contains thoughtful lyrics and stellar musicianship. Linkin Park saw success by repeating the same pattern of rap-rock mixed with emotionally charged lyrics, which propelled them into a multi-platinum world famous act.
Linkin Park is touring in support of their newest album, Living Things. Incubus continues behind their latest release, If Not Now, When? New Orleans rock band MUTEMATH opens the show.
