Thee Oh Sees comes to The Crocodile with their lo-fi, acoustic-electric, reverb drenched sound in tow. Thee Oh Sees are headed by John Dwyer, a musician who has dabbled in every genre from metal to punk and everything in between.  While the lo-fi sound of Thee Oh Sees is definitely the lightest of his projects, their sound is not compromised because of it.  While earlier material focused mostly on Dwyer’s talents as a musician, the current lineup is concentrated much more on spreading out the sound to all members, and as a result, Thee Oh Sees refuse to be nailed down into any one particular genre.  If you’re looking for a great, energetic show, check out Thee Oh Sees with Total Control and Grave Babies at The Crocodile.

Tonight at Neumo’s is a rather unique show: a benefit show for Planned Parenthood.  This show features an incredibly expansive lineup, headlined by RA Scion of Common Market.  I’m not sure what I can exactly say about this show that would make it sound any better than just the fact that it is a benefit concert and features some amazing bands.  So: if you’re up for a night of great music and want to support a good organization, head on down to Neumo’s and check out RA Scion, Star Anna, The Volcano Diary, NoRey, Minirex, The maxines, and Land of Pines.
