Tonight in Seattle: Golden Gardens, Vox Maquinista, Your City Sleeps and more!
Posted by Bebe BeschGolden Gardens, Vox Maquinista, Terabyte and the Battery Eaters, Your City Sleeps @ The Crocodile Back Bar | 7/16 | Doors at 7 p.m. | $5 at the door | All-Ages, bar w/I.D.
A pleasant reflection of one of Seattle’s most beloved summery locations, dreamgaze duo Golden Gardens successfully execute their own shimmering deliveries with ease. The duo who make the hazy songs are Aubrey Rachel Violet Bramble on vocals and Gregg Alexander Joseph Neville as multi-instrumentalist and composer. With each other they have put together a handful of offerings over at their bandcamp page, but currently Golden Gardens has embarked on a kickstrarter campaign to help fund the mixing and mastering for nine of the songs belonging on their next album, How Brave The Hunted Wolves. After just 24 hours of the campaign going live, the group already accured over 50% of their asking funds, and supporters continue to pledge towards the project.
If you stop by The Crocodile’s back bar on Monday night, you may hear a few of the newer songs by Golden Gardens performed live before they’re officially processed. Along with Golden Gardens, Vox Maquinista, Terabyte and the Battery Eaters, and Your City Sleeps will also be playing – if you do the math that’s just $1.25 per band!
