Tonight’s the night that Seattle gets to come out and see Tacoma old-schoolers Girl Trouble take the stage for the first time since their Never Pay to Play lawsuit got dropped in November. The meat of it is that Girl Trouble also runs a site, neverpaytoplay.com, and they were sued by Gorilla Productions for doing so. Luckily for them and for all good people everywhere, the judge threw out the Gorilla Productions suit.
Girl Trouble can once again rock without dealing with the stress of someone trying to take everything from them. Tonight’s the night to celebrate 27 years of good music with them.
Arrive early and catch a solid rock show from Sir Coyler & His Asthmatic Band, whose hard-rockin’ Uno’s Wasabi Mix is available for your perusal right here.

Award-eligible Bellingham emcees The Bad Tenants mean business– the uber-talented foursome will make a rare (hopefully that will change soon) Seattle appearance this evening at the Nectar. Those who nerd out over hip-hop should definitely catch the band live. Their music is rife with references to their various influences and it just bleeds affection for the genre.
Their lively set will definitely warm your bones even if, like the rest of us, you’ve spent the last three days freezing in 6+ inches of snow.
