If you are burned out on the crowds at Bumbershoot but are still lusting for some Labor Day live music, get yo’ self down to the Sunset Tavern in Ballard. The evening will be filled with the psychedelic, classic rock, pop of Elder Mason. Elder Mason is a Seattle band that blends the catchy elements of pop music with visceral rock reminiscent of classic bands — the result is a compelling live performance that will fill the musical void for the evening.

Sharing the Sunset’s stage tonight is Brass Bed. With the release of their much anticipated seven inch “A Bullet for You” just around the corner, Brass Bed will be satiating ravenous fans with sold song writing and aural range at this evening’s performance. Their pop tunes have a reputation for satisfaction and tonight’s show will be no exception.

Kicking off the whole shebang will be Seattle’s own sun fizz duo, Darby and Joan, collectively known as Summer Aviation. Get at this show; it will be a” be there or be square” kind of night.
