The Shins, Washed Out @ The Paramount | $31.25 | 8pm | All Ages
The Shins are taking over the Paramount tonight touring behind their latest release, Port of Morrow. Little introduction is needed for these now chart topping Portlanders; with a newly formed and invigorated backing band James Mercer’s band has never sounded tighter or as triumphant.
Opening the night is the dreamily atmospheric electro-pop of Washed Out.

The Raveonettes, Melody’s Echo Chamber @ Neumos | $18 | 8pm | 21+
The Raveonettes, while continuing down their darker washed out and ethereal path they started on with 2011’s Raven in the Grave, always put on one of the most enchanting live performances I’ve witnessed. The Danish duo, who have been cited as inspiration to everyone from the Dum Dum Girls to The Drums, are coming to town in support of their newest album Observator and are bringing along the Parisian band Melody’s Echo Chamber for their first ever tour of the states.

Wheedle’s Groove, Acapulco Gold @ The Neptune | $19 | 9pm | All ages
Soul is taking over the Neptune tonight in Seattle as legendary northwest acts Wheedle’s Groove and Acapulco Gold reignite the fire that was the 60’s and 70’s Seattle soul and funk scene.

Brent Amaker & the Rodeo, Fox and the Law @ Columbia City Theater | $10 | 9pm | 21+
With their matching western outfits and trippy brand of psychedelic country, Brent Amaker and the Rodeo will rock you straight outta your boots tonight.
