Bowerbirds are bringing their elemental and rustic stylings to Barboza’s stage tonight in Seattle with openers Strand of Oaks and Prypyat and Valerie Skubal did a great preview for the show here.

Mark Z. Danielewski w/ Christopher O’Riley @ Town Hall | $5 | 6:30pm | All Ages
Author Mark Z. Danielewski is coming to town and doing a live reading in support of his newest novel The Fifty Year Sword with the help of pianist Christopher O’Riley and Seattle Radio Theatre. Christopher O’Riley is best known for his excellent piano interpretations of artists such as Elliott Smith, Radiohead and Nirvana among many others.
