Bombay Bicycle Club, Vacationer @ Showbox Market | $20 | 7pm | All ages

Bombay Bicycle Club have a hunger for performing and releasing records that’s unseen these days. With a track record of releasing an album a year they’re bringing back the urgency of the recording industry from back in the 60’s and 70’s and with every release you see them evolve more and more – unafraid to experiment and push their boundaries. At their base, Bombay Bicycle Club are a young, guitar driven pop band with infectious melodies and electronic flourishes that guarantee to work the crowd into a frenzy tonight in Seattle.

Freelance Whales, Geographer @ Chop Suey | $17.50 | 8pm | 21+

Freelance Whales are bringing their folk-tinged experimental pop to Chop Suey tonight in celebration of their new album Diluvia. After ratcheting up a slew of favorable reviews and becoming the apple of NPR’s eye in 2009, with the release of their first album Weathervanes, this young band from Queens, NY has been a non-stop force.
