Stream: Russian Circles – ‘Empros’; Fall Tour Dates

Today, Russian Circles, a three-piece instrumental/metal outfit from Chicago, has released their fourth LP, Empros. This album is said to be the band’s heaviest yet, as SPIN says they adopt, “the blown-out blear of black-metal, plus some adrenalized bass-drum stutter-rawk for good measure.” Bassist Brian Cook mentioned to Blabbermouth that this shift in style was to help convey their live sound within their recording with, “more constructive dynamics and dramatic bridging between songs.” With help from producer Brandon Curtis (of The Secret Machines and Interpol), this highly anticipated release is finally here, and available for streaming on SPIN.com.  They’ve additionally recently released US tour dates which you can find below:
