Annie Clark, better known as St. Vincent, appeared on Conan on January 16th and simply stole the show. The whilom bandmate of Sufjan Stevens saw her own view and broke out creating her own indie pop music. Clark’s first album, Marry Me was released in 2007 by Beggars Banquet Records. Following is Actor, then her brand new album Strange Mercy; both released by British independent label 4AD. Her fun and trippy song “Cruel” off Strange Mercy has a music video, which I present to you.
