SSG Music: Official Name Change!

Lovers of SSG have more than likely noticed the induction of “SSG” and the phrase “SSG Music” on…SSG. When we rolled out the new look of SSG back in June, we ended it with this message:

Last but not least, the entity SSG Music has officially been changed to SSG—it’s not short for anything anymore. I started this outlet as a gal who went to a lot of shows. That no longer represents what we do here. However, through the relentless hustle of everyone on staff, we’ve made the letters “SSG” a strong brand. That’s not going anywhere. Our new web address will eventually be moved over to www.ssgmusic.com. Don’t be sad! Change is good!

Update your bookmarks, this change has officially happened! All of our existing links still work, but we will be publishing through SSG, www.ssgmusic.com, going forward. Unfortunately, this has reset all of our social media counters, but there is all the time in the world for tweets, sharing, and liking. On that note, the @SeattleShowGal twitter has been changed to @SSGMusic, and we’re working on the Facebook change now. In addition to this, SSG is expanding to Montreal, Canada! There is going to be lots more information to come, so stay tuned. Above all, thank you so  much for allowing SSG to be a part of your music communities. We’re having so much fun.
