Sigur Rós Announce First Headline Tour in Four Years

At the conclusion of summer festival performance run, they will prepare for a 2013 winter tour in the UK and Europe.
Fifteen dates and all, the string of shows mark their first headlining venture in the region since 2008. Alongside the team of brass and string players they have featured in recent performances, these upcoming gigs will be augmented by brand new material.
Their latest full-length, Valtari, came out earlier this year. They plan to introduce even newer compositions to the crowds than what is featured on the aforementioned album.
The tour begins in Porto, Portugal at the Coliseum on Feb. 13, 2013. View the entire list of tour dates below.
