The Brooklyn trio Beach Fossils revealed their album Somersault a few months ago, one that “captures flashes of life in New York grounded in personal experiences” and are headed to play the cozy venue Musik & Frieden this Wednesday night.
The band launched in 2010 with their self-titled LP, catching glances and developing obsessions via faraway vocals and minimal fuzzy vibes. Somersault is the band’s first release since 2013’s Clash the Truth and the first release on lead singer Dustin Payseur’s new label Bayonet Records.
