Ryan Francesconi and Mirabai Peart Announce Album Details

Ryan Francesconi & Mirabai Peart‘s new record Road to Palios has been formally announced by the duo. It is due out on Dec. 4 courtesy of Bella Union and Cooperative Music.
Ryan Francesconi is a seasoned musician, performer and arranger. He is well-known for being a leading member of Joanna Newsom’s Ys Street Band and being the musical director for Have One On Me in a live context. More broadly, he has been a soloist as well as a member of various bands and ensembles in jazz, folk, Americana and Baroque.
Road to Palios incorporates Francesconi and Peart’s take on Balkan folk music, and with seven instrumental cuts on the album they have ample opportunities to explore new ground with guitar and violin interplay.
