Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Damaged by Hurricane Sandy
Posted by Katherine Humphreys
Manhattan’s tall cranes and the Jersey Shore’s boardwalk aren’t the only places being pummeled and/or wiped off the face of the earth by vicious Hurricane Sandy – the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame all the way in Cleveland, OH, has been damaged as well.
While the waters of Lake Eerie did not actually breech the floodwalls, they did surge up to within two feet of the top. The Hall evaded flooding, but recieved some wind damage to one of the auditoriums. Paneling can be seen in the video below being ripped off the building in pieces.
Despite the storm damage the Hall will opened doors again just this morning at around 11AM.
