It seems that members of San Diego freak punk label Three One G decide to form new supergroups at least once a year. Holy Molar, Ground Unicorn Horn, and Head Wound City were all comically short lived. Here’s hoping Retox has a longer shelf life.

The group was formed last year primarily by Gabe Serbian of The Locust and Rats Eyes and Justin Pearson, the founder of the label and member of most of the groups the label represents, past and present. The quartet recently released a free EP. At a length of eight tunes and seven minutes, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a cadre of punk musicians that pride themselves on making the most noise possible in the least amount of time. You can download the EP from their website and soon purchase it as a limited edition vinyl on the Three One G site. They’ll be hitting the UK this spring and plan on releasing an LP shortly after.
