On night two of the Red Hot and Blue Rockabilly Weekend, you will be blown away by locals Bloodshot Bill & The Handcuffs. For you Montreal readers, Bloodshot should need no introduction, but for all you poor souls who have yet to experience the Bloodshot Bill experience in person, get on it! Bloodshot has one of the wildest, unique voices in rock n’ roll and he sure knows how to get people shaking. Bloodshot has toured all over the world, often as a one man show, playing guitar with his hands, drums with his feet and wailing on the microphone all at the same time.
On this night however, you will be given the extra pleasure of a full band. Consisting of Eddy Blake Eaton the ever amazing acrobatic double bassist, who can play while standing on top of the big ole stand up bass, he can play upside down, sideways and every which way, while never stopping to rock the hell out! A sight to be seen. Also, on drums is Eric Sandmark of Ray Condo’s band fame. Topping it all off is Cadillac Al, who rips, roars and wails on the saxophone. Don’t miss out when Bloodshot Bill & The Handcuffs tear up the stage at le Lion D’Or, Friday, September 2nd. Also performing that night are The Shakedown Combo, Sit & Die Co. and Rockabilly legend: Huelyn Duvall.
