Pussy Riot Conviction Appealed

As of Monday, Pussy Riot’s lawyer confirmed that their two-year prison sentence has been appealed.
Detained for their flash performance of an anti-Putin song inside a Moscow cathedral, three members of the all female punk band were jailed for “hooliganism motivated by religious hatred.”
