New Zealander, Phillipa Margaret Brown, better known as Ladyhawke, will fill the depths of Barboza with her throw-back pop and synth lady rock style Wednesday night. She will be promoting her second solo release, Anxiety, which harnesses more rock and less synth than her first self-titled release from four years ago. Though both albums are subtly different, both provide the signature fun and poppy sounds that define Ladyhawke.

Los Angeles electronica garage rock group American Royalty will be opening up for Ladyhawke, along with Barboza’s JK Pop! regulars DJ Bishie and BabyLoveCrash.
