This’ll be the hip-hop show to end all indie hip-hop shows. Chali 2na has finally released Fish Outta Water, an album that fans have been anxiously awaiting for the last five years! After the break-up of the ever-important Jurassic 5, Chali 2na has made guest appearance after guest appearance, but never really settled down to make his record. In fact, he even made a mix-tape in anticipation of his record, Welcome to the Fish Market, but that was five years ago.

Make appearances on everyone’s records from Talib Kweli to Linkin Park to The Mighty Underdogs, go on tour with Galactic and Ozomatli, and after the anticipation reaches a fever pitch you put out your record. Fish Outta Water is finally out and it is a solid record chock-full of great guests, and not just from the West Coast/ Quannum family. Now he’s co-headlining a tour with another hip-hop legend, the untouchable Gift of Gab (of Blackalicious, Mighty Underdogs), Lyrics Born (Latyrx) is hosting, and Mr. Lif is opening. This is a party for the books, folks.
