After taking two years off to raise his daughters, Steve Holy is back on the road promoting his upcoming single “Hauled Off And Kissed Me.”
SSG Music sat down with Holy at the Watershed Music Festival to talk hopes for his coming single and what he’s looking forward to in the next year.
Holy’s initial success kicked off in 2000 with Blue Moon which featured his first major hit “Good Morning Beautiful.” Since then, he’s produced two more albums, 2006′s Brand New Girlfriend and 2011′s Love Don’t Run.
Having made a habit of taking time off post projects, Holy doesn’t intend for that to be the case this go-round. Now, he is prepping to release his latest single “Hauled Off And Kissed Me,” while looking forward to what he hopes will be his first big back-to-back hit experience.
With every intention of riding the momentum from Love Don’t Run as far as it will carry him, Holy has plans to shoot the video for “Hauled Off” as well as a few other singles already in the pipeline.
During our interview, Holy came across as fully ignited about getting back out on the road, touring and promoting. Fueled with a newfound energy, he’s “having the time of his life.”
