Pitchfork Day 1 2012: Feist
Posted by Kevin KloeckerFeist is one of those woman that must have come from a dream. Closing out the events last night at Pitchfork, she took the stage, her beauty enough to please the crowd. The quality of the sound was notably perfect, and while many acts were underwhelmed by the technical incapabilities of the festival, her style worked perfect with a modest and touching set finishing the night.
Feist played songs off of Metals, relaxing the audience after a long day in the heat and rain. Her chops on the guitar were just as impressive as her voice, captivating the crowd and even lulling them into pleasure until she shook our ears with some sporadic bursts of energy.
