Faith No more is currently touring in anticipation of their new album, Sol Invictus. For the Northwest portion of the tour they asked artist CHRISTEENE of Austin, TX to open for them. On 4/17/2015 they made a stop in Portland at the Keller Auditorium.
CHRISTEENE is described as “a sexually infused sewer of live rap and vile shamelessness, capable of adapting amazingly well to all styles of music.” I think these photos will prove that description to be correct.
Faith No More was up next and the stage became a giant garden with flowers lining every inch of it.
Dressed in all white, the band made their way onto the stage. Mike Patton was the last one to come out and the crowd went crazy. Being a Faith No More fan myself, I had high expectations for the show. This band surpassed every expectation I had. They were definitely one of the best bands I have ever seen live. They were tight and Patton’s voice sounded better than ever! I enjoyed every second of their performance.
