Peter Hook to Perform Joy Division’s Still

Former Joy Division and New Order bassist, Peter Hook, has announced another tour that will feature Joy Division songs.

The announced performances will cover material from Joy Division’s 1981 posthumous release Still. Released after singer Ian Curtis’ death, and the dissolving of the band, Still contained live recordings and previously unreleased studio material.

Hook already performed Unknown Pleasures and Closer in the past two years and Still will be the final installment to his tribute to Joy Division.

The Manchester low-end-lord will be performing with his band Peter Hook and The Light, and will continue to play music from Closer and Unknown Pleasures. So far, only European dates in May and June have been announced.
