Nicki Minaj Has Twitter Tirade After Canceling Show

After canceling a concert last minute in the UK, Nicki Minaj received some virulent comments on her Twitter page. She reportedly called the show off because her vocal cords are significantly strained; she did not want to lip-sync any material.
On her Twitter account Minaj exclaimed that, “[she] was in jeopardy of losing [her] voice entirely and needing surgery on [her] vocal cord.” She then went on to make several more posts where she responded with hostility and frustration against pestering fans.
Nicki Minaj does not have any more performances until October, but there is no official word on plans for surgery or postponing concerts.
