Independent record label Mute has just announced the launching of their new electronic sub-label, Liberation Technologies. The label is set to work with extensive collaboration policies inviting pioneers in electronic music of all experience levels. The new label is even highly supportive of releasing work anonymously, if you prefer it. Liberation Technologies hopes that their non-restrictive policies will act as catalysts for musicians to challenge themselves creatively. The ambitious new label is also interested in innovative ideas for distributing their future releases, but will primarily focus on vinyl. First to appear on Liberation Technologies will be the release of the Spring EP by King Felix (previously known under Laurel Halo) which is set to drop on March 19th both online and in physical format.
