Maxwell Cancels Tour Due to Vocal Problems

Maxwell has canceled his short summer tour after being diagnosed with vocal swelling and hemorrhaging.
The R&B crooner had set six dates in Los Angeles, Atlanta and Newark for late July and August in which he planned to perform his entire discography. Maxwell was to perform two nights in each city. On the first night he would perform Urban Hang Suite and Embrya. The following night he would perform Now and BLACKsummers’night.
Now, Maxwell plans to push back the tour to support the release of his upcoming album, blackSUMMERS’night—not to be confused with 2009′s similarly titled BLACKsummers’night.
blackSUMMERS’night is expected later this year.
