Deerhoof‘s new record Breakup Song is now streaming on Youtube in its entirety. The LP is due out September 4 in the States courtesy of Polyvinyl Records.

Never a group to shy from the vanguard of originality, Deerhoof’s peculiar brand of experimental rock is outspoken from the first song onward. A mix of pinball-like synthesized sounds, stuttered vocals, and classic rock riffs permeate the first tune; from there, they dart into dub-electronic territory, art pop, and stripes of psychedelia.

Joyful Noise Records is producing a limited cassette run of the album (250 copies) as well as an exclusive twelve page booklet which includes seven 7” flexi discs that contain all the original tracks plus one extra.

Stream all of Breakup Song below – it is an entrancing ride.
