Listen: The Noisettes — “Winner”

The Noisettes are back with a new song, “Winner”.
The London trio is set to release their yet-untitled upcoming album later this year as a follow up to their successful sophomore LP, Wild Young Hearts.
Channeling every sound from gritty blues and uptempo pop, to classic jazz and smooth soul, the band is anything but conventional.
Of the new song, lead singer Shinghai Shoniwa said, “We’ve been collaborating with with some fantastic pop-smiths recently. Sometimes we’d drive off into the sunset after a session in our rental Mustang convertible and write a song or two by the highway-side with the top down, Californian style”.
The band recorded their new album at Westlake Studios in LA, where they worked with famous songwriter Jean Baptiste Kouamewho, who helped pen “Winner”. Baptiste has also co-written songs for Madonna, Rihanna, Will.I.Am and Ke$ha.
