Remembered as part of Seattle indie rockers The Kindness Kind, Nicolas Danielson is set to release his debut full-length effort, In The Tidelands, under the fresh moniker of NIKU. The release is set for the end of July through Don’t Be a Lout.
“Broken Seashells” leads the charge off the longplayer, a potpourri of artificial instrumentation and homages to the glitchy ambient renaissance of late ’90s and early ’00s electronic music. Check out the track below.
