Angel Olsen has been undergoing major changes. She introduced herself with Strange Cacti, allowing for heavy exploration with the range of her vocals. Minimal instrumentation complimented with full-throated vocals set Olsen ahead of the game. Half Way Home took sharing personal experience a step further, sharing incredibly relatable and real lyrics that make us all realize we hurt together.

On February 18th, 2014, her newest album Burn Your Fire For No Witness will be released. Olsen will be venturing off for another year-long tour to support it. For anyone who has seen her live performances, it is well known that little effort goes into blasting everyone away into a different realm. Leaving audiences speechless is typical. Her strong, sonorous vocals compliment any speed of song. Below showcases the new fire she’s started, ignited by “a year of heartbreak, travel, and transformation.”
