M.I.A. has contributed the theme song for The World Tomorrow, a new 12-part series helmed by WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Assange is launching the talk show from his home in the UK, where he is currently under house arrest. M.I.A. will also appear in an episode of the program, which airs on the government-funded Russian news network RT and online.

Although M.I.A. didn’t contribute vocals to the track, she still provided synth-heavy instrumental track featured at the beginning and end of the first episode, which featured an interview with Hassan Nasrallah, leader of the Shia militant group Hezbollah.

This isn’t the first time the singer has been inspired by Assange.  In 2010, she produced a Vicki Leekx mixtape inspired in part by Assange’s work.
