Lykke Li has taken her best stab at the Fleetwood Mac original “Silver Springs.” The song first appeared on the band’s famous 1977 LP Rumours.
The Swedish art pop artist recorded the track for Just Tell Me That You Want Me, a tribute album for Fleetwood Mac. She certainly retains the heart of the song while expanding its sonic palette: it feels like there is more space in the room and deliberate drum hits coincide with Li’s impassioned voice.
