Flying Lotus has released the single “See Thru to U” from his upcoming album Until the Quiet Comes. Neo-soul artist Erykah Badu sings on the track.
Beginning with a characteristically off-kilter beat before shifting into Badu’s hazy, Outkast-esque vocals, the song exemplifies FlyLo’s experimental treatment of electronic music. His last album, Cosmagramma, was the recipient of considerable critical praise and exhibited his progression in far-flung sounds.
Until the Quiet Comes is due out on October 2 courtesy of Warp Records. Check out “See Thru to U” below.
