Bob Mould has a brand new song out called “The Descent”.
The song is the first track to be revealed from his forthcoming LP Silver Age.
Bob Mould – fabled frontman for seminal ’80s post-punk band Hüsker Dü and ’90s alt-rock band Sugar – is back with this tight, bouncing song. “The Descent” features addictive melodies, fast and ripping rock out sections and Mould’s soaring voice.
Silver Age is set for a September 4 release date via Merge Records. Listen to the fresh cut below; just try listening to it only once.
